Founders Backwoods Bastard

Bought this on November 18, 2010. Originally got two 4-packs and after this one I've got one bottle left. Poured 1/4 into a disposable Solo cocktail cup. I probably should've gotten a proper glass but I'm lazy and I'm enjoying this fine Autumnal weather outdoors.
Product in 12 ounce bottle stored in EuroCave at about 53.2 degrees F since purchase. The product is muddy dark brown. No head, minimal carbonation, almost no lacing and some suspicious suspended white particulate. Noses sherry and/or port, then fermented coconut juice with some butter london nail polish. Palate with lotsa' vanilla and caramel, noticeably sweet with touch of hops, and medium "syrupness". Finishes fairly clean with a tinge of hops. The 10.2% abv is becoming noticeable. It's changed considerably since I had it two years ago. Good thing I only have 1 left.

Hi'ya! This is why I am here.

Sabrina, my better half, has decided that I should let the world know what I think about grub, booze, and other secular activities. This is the place where I will share my hobbies and dirt-honest opinions. I'll try to include a few pics but I have a habit of diving right into my plate or jug of vittles. Anyways, here I go...
